Brooklyn bound 2, 3 train at Park Place to Atlantic Ave and transfer to either a Coney Island bound D, N or Q train to the last stop on the line. Do the opposite (Manhattan bound trains) when heading back.

Go if you want, just know their really isn’t anything to do at this time of year everythings closed (in terms of rides and the beach.)

good luck though.

If you are closer to the Chambers St station you can walk over to the Chambers Street sta and take a Brooklyn Bound A train to Jay Street and Borough Hall and then get off the A train and on the same platform without going up stairs or through connecting walkways you can wait for the F train on the same platform and the F train will take you directly to Coney Island Stillwell Ave subway station where the D B N & Q trains all meet.

This is an alternate way to travel than going on the IRT Brooklyn Bound 2 & 3 train and then changing at Atlantic Ave which entails going up the stairs and walking through tunnels to catch another train.

Either way you will get to Coney Island but in case you are not used to traveling by subway and changing from one line to another by going through connecting walkways then the A train T Jay Street subway station to change for the Coney Island Bound F train on the same platform is easier.

The above link will take you to the subway map and you will have it in PDF format where you can zoom into areas of the map and see the subway lines very easily and trace both ways to get to Coney Island Stillwell ave subway station. Either way will get you to Coney Island

Walk over to the City Hall Station and take the Brooklyn-bound (southbound) “R” train (Yellow Line on the subway map) from there to Atlantic Avenue-Pacific Street.

At Atlantic Avenue-Pacific Street, transfer across the platform to the “N” train (Yellow Line). Take the Coney Island (southbound) “N” train from there to Stillwell Avenue-Coney Island.

The fare on the subway is $2.25 one way.

Good luck
