Best Way to Coney Island From Jamaica, Queens?
Me Y asked:
I live in Long Island and I would take the LIRR to Jamaica, Queens. What do I do once I get to the Jamaica station to get to Coney Island? Subway, or does the LIRR go there? Please be specific, thanks.

your on pacific – 36th street-9th ave- fort Hamilton – 50th street- 55th street- 62nd street- 71st street – 79th street – 18th ave – 21st ave – bay parkway – 25th ave – bay 50th – coney island
its about a 20-30 min trip.
My friend, take the LIRR from Long Island to Flatbush Terminal and transfer to the subway there. Take the “B”, “D”, “N” or “Q” trains from the Atlantic Avenue-Pacific Street subway complex to Coney Island.
Good luck

Take the LIRR to Flatbush Avenue, not Jamaica. From there take the N train to Coney Island. The D and Q also go to Coney Island but the Q is local and the D makes a million stops in Brooklyn. The N is the fastest out of the three.
