Is Park Slop, in Brooklyn, And Bad Part of Town?

1) Good place to live, but expensive and too trendy now.

2) Many subway lines run through and near Park Slope

3) Mainly Christian and Jewish.

It’s a fairly upscale neighborhood. Safe. Mixed but pretty Jewish. Subway right there.

I live in Park Slope. It has been a great place to live for decades!!! The one downside is that, now that people have figured out what a great neighborhood it is, too many people want to live here. The cost of housing has gone through the moon!!!

So, yes, beautiful, very safe, very trendy, but EXPENSIVE!

We have all manor of subways on the edges of the neighborhood, but none right in the Heart of the Slope, which is a bummer, but you can find just about every subway fairly nearby.

We have every religion, but it’s mostly Yuppie and not very religious. However we have a LOT of churches – one on almost every corner, and 4 synogogues – 3 of which are more liberal synogogues, and only one is Orthodox.

We also have a LOT of interracial couples, a lot of same sex couples (mostly female) and a LOT of families. But a lot more singles are starting to move here as it’s become more trendy.

The politics here are mostly left of center.
