I realize that no where is safe, and you have to use common sense, but besides that I need help knowing the safer areas of Brooklyn.

Is it safe to live close to Pratt Institute, which is in Clinton Hill?
Williamsburg?
Park Slope? And what exactly is Park Slope South?
Bushwhichk?

And how much is a monthy Metro Card pass?
How much would a cab from Clinton Hill to Greenwhich Village cost?

ok, so I’m moving to NYC with a couple of friends really soon and we’ve pretty much decided on Brooklyn. We’ve been looking at Prospect Heights mostly, but have also heard that Carroll Grandens and Point Greene are nicer and cheaper sections as well. Are there any other decent places? I was wondering about East Williamsburg and Clinton Hill as well…
Thanks!

We want a safe neighborhood, with people similar to our age, but still accessible to Brooklyn College. Does anyone know of any neighborhoods that would be a good fit? we already have been looking into Cobble hill, Caroll Gardens, Midwood, Greenpoint, and Williamsburg. Does anyone have suggestions about which is the best and any other neighborhoods would help too. Thanks!

What’s the best pizza in Williamsburg, Brooklyn around the Jackson Ave subway station? I’m gonna be around there later in the week. 10 pts for best answer. Thanks!

I mean, besides in Williamsburg or the Court Street area. I live near Newkirk Ave (by the B&Q) and wanted to know if there was a Thai place that delivers over there.
