I know a lot about Manhattan, but I was wondering about the other boros. Are there other “cool” or good neighborhoods where young, hip professionals live? (And I’m not talking about Williamsburg). Most of my friends live in Manhattan, W’burg, and Park Slope but are there places in Queens that are cool? I want some place that feels safe and somewhat residential, but also has fun restaurants, cafes, etc. and access to the city.

NYC is always going through a gentrification process. I think it might be time to invest in a studio in Bushwick Brooklyn. Williamsburg has slowly spread to East Williamsburg in terms of being hip. Do you think this will continue to Bushwick?

i live in brooklyn .. in williamsburg… and i need a job. so what kinds of jobs can 14 year olds get here. or what sites i can find one??? and i need one that i can work at after school but dont end to late caz i have a curfew… im on juvenile probation so that would make it harder for me to find a job i think….
i dont mean those kind of jobs like babystitting and all that i mean jobs that pay alot.. i need to earn like 1700 dollers.. and i already have a student employment certificate

What are some of the more decent areas of Brooklyn to live?
I am thinking and looking at Williamsburg. So far, that’s the only one i know of that happens to be safe and decent.
My school is in Greenwhich Village and I want the easiest access, without having to live in the city, because obviously i cannot afford it 
i’ve heard about park slope? is that any good?
also, i do not know too much about brooklyn, but i have heard there happens to be very shady areas. can you tell me the shady areas to stay away from!
